Week 3 Progress Report - Meg Palmer Gross - Project Management
Admin Stuff:
Hours Worked This Week: 60
Total Hours Worked This Quarter: 160
Current Work Load:
Project Packing Boxes: Global Data Center Migration for our company & 17 clients: Consolidating all of our data centers for all of our clients in to 3 main data centers
Project Everest: Ramp for 500 agents for a Healthcare Client
Project Cotton Candy: Closing out a project for an Outbound Dialer program - still have 4 weeks of efforts remaining
Expected Progress This Week vs. Actual Progress:
Project Packing Boxes
- Daily touch points continued with daily project plan review and updates for internal efforts and customers
- Created a deck to review with our executive leadership reviewing our overall progress
- Worked with our internal teams to connect our existing network to our newly set up network. This was the final network we needed to connect at one of our new data centers.
- Worked with our internal teams to prep to move our WAN routers. Due to an emergency we had to move the actual execution date approx. 10 days.
Project Everest:
- Set up weekly meetings w/client that will continue through Dec 2022 as we get in to the ramp season until the seasonal programs are completed for the year.
- Created the multiple schedules for our training classes for the upcoming season
- Began setting up internal review calls to build our project plan and review items that need to be fixed from last seasons and started assigning owners and due dates on a project plan
Project Cotton Candy:
- Worked with our internal departments to correct some reporting errors
- Spent the majority of my week leading contract negotiations with a company that is going to implement a new dialer solution for us. This took up most of my 40 hours this week.
Issues That Arose:
Project Moving Boxes: Our network engineer was in an accident and had to have surgery. This will push back our dates a bit and impact us internally, but it will not impact our clients. As long as our clients have their equipment/circuits ordered and delivered to our DCs by the time we are network ready to the point that we can migrate the clients over we will be good. Only 2 clients are missing their equipment in house currently and we've worked to escalate this.
Project Everest: No issues arose this week
Project Cotton Candy: No issues arose this week
Expected Progress for Next Week:
Project Moving Boxes: Continue to work with our customers to make strides towards efforts to migrate them to our new network.
Project Everest: Continue with breakout sessions both internally and with our clients. Finalize scheduling for the season and begin the deep dive in to the project plan and hiring plans.
Project Cotton Candy: Finaize all contracts to implement a new dialer.
